The NYAIE Scholarship exists to make the full HumbleBeeAI Academy pathway accessible to committed learners, regardless of their financial starting point. It is designed specifically for serious candidates who intend to complete the full pathway toward becoming industry-ready AI engineers.
How it works
A loan-forgiveness model built around completion.
All NYAIE scholarship support is structured as a loan from day one. That loan is permanently forgiven when the learner completes the full Academy pathway: Engineering Fundamentals → Soft Landing → Foundation → Growth-3 entry. If you complete the pathway, you owe nothing. Forgiveness is permanent and irrevocable at the point of Growth-3 entry — it does not depend on what happens after that.
This structure exists because the scholarship is designed to support serious long-term commitment, not to subsidize short-term exploration. It aligns the foundation's support with the learner's genuine investment in the full journey.
Partial coverage
A defined percentage of monthly tuition
Scholarships are awarded in tiers from 10% to 90%. At each tier, NYAIE covers that share and the learner covers the remainder. The Academy receives 100% of the base tuition regardless.
ISA-style support
No upfront payment — repay when earning
Loan-based support requires no payment during the program. Repayment starts only after the learner begins earning. Interest rate is 0%. Repayment plans are income-adjusted and flexible.
Hybrid
Scholarship combined with loan
A combination of direct scholarship and deferred-payment loan support. Designed for candidates who need flexible financial arrangements across different program stages.
The pathway
What the scholarship covers.
The HumbleBeeAI Academy operates a four-stage progression. The NYAIE Scholarship is designed to support learners through each stage.
Engineering Fundamentals
The entry-level program. On-site, full-time, up to four months. Builds the foundational technical discipline required to progress. Base tuition: $1,000 / month.
Soft Landing
The bridging program between foundations and specialization. On-site, full-time, up to six months. Deepens technical capability in a professional environment. Base tuition: $1,000 / month.
Foundation
Specialization and real project execution. On-site, full-time, up to six months. Completion of Foundation and entry into Growth-3 triggers permanent loan forgiveness. Base tuition: $1,000 / month.
Growth-3
Performance-based client integration with compensation progression from $5 to $50 per hour. A separate NYAIE scholarship can be applied for. All prior scholarship support is permanently forgiven at Growth-3 entry. One-time fee: $10,000.
Forgiveness terms
The forgiveness model in plain language.
If you complete Engineering Fundamentals, Soft Landing, and Foundation — and enter Growth-3 — all NYAIE scholarship amounts for those three stages are permanently forgiven. This forgiveness is irrevocable. It does not depend on what happens in Growth-3.
If you exit the pathway before entering Growth-3, the scholarship-covered amounts become a repayable loan. Repayment is income-triggered, interest-free, and structured to protect the learner. If your exit is for a documented valid reason, the NYAIE management team may review and grant partial or full forgiveness at their discretion.

Important note
The $100 application fee is never covered.
The non-refundable $100 Academy application fee is always paid by the candidate, regardless of scholarship tier. It is credited toward the first month's net-of-scholarship tuition.

Candidates from Economics, Law, Medicine, Business, Engineering, and similar fields are encouraged. Analytical thinking, real-world exposure, and resilience are valued alongside technical background.
Selection process
How candidates are evaluated.
Scholarship evaluation is integrated into the Academy application process. All candidates go through the same two-step evaluation. Scholarship tier is decided case-by-case by the Academy Director based on interview performance, financial need, and alignment with Academy values.
Step one
Interview
A structured interview assessing mindset, motivation, and discipline. The goal is to understand the candidate's long-term intention and their readiness to engage with the Academy's demanding culture.
Step two
Technical challenge
A technical assessment measuring readiness to enter the Academy stage the candidate is applying for. Helps ensure learners can succeed in HumbleBeeAI's project-based environment from day one.

Can I apply at any stage of the Academy?
Yes. Applicants may enter the scholarship process at Engineering Fundamentals, Soft Landing, Foundation, or Growth-3, as long as they meet the program's entrance criteria for that stage.
When does repayment start if I don't complete the pathway?
Repayment is income-triggered. It begins only after you start earning — from a Foundation stipend, Growth-3 income, or external employment. There is no interest and no obligation to pay while you are not earning.
Does the scholarship cover the Growth-3 fee?
Not automatically. The Growth-3 program requires a separate scholarship application. Completing the prior stages does not guarantee Growth-3 scholarship coverage — it is an independent evaluation.
What happens if I leave for a medical or family reason?
If your exit is for a documented valid reason, the NYAIE management team reviews the situation and may grant partial or full forgiveness at their discretion. This is handled case-by-case — it is not HBAI Academy's decision.
Is the scholarship available outside Uzbekistan?
The scholarship is available to candidates who can participate in the on-site Academy programs. NYAIE's stated mission is to make serious AI education accessible to talent across Central Asia and beyond, regardless of geography or financial background.
Is this different from an ISA?
Structurally similar to an income share agreement, but with a key difference: the loan is completely forgiven — not deferred or restructured — when you complete the pathway and enter Growth-3. The forgiveness is permanent and irrevocable.
